BAAAAH I have been looking for another painting program to use with photoshop and I've heard that open canvas is the best out there. SO I get all exited and over the course of a few months decide that open canvas was the way to go.....
SO I GOOGLE IT. And google tells me how it is. No Open Canvas for me and my mackbook pro. I was all rearin' to go and buy the pro version of open canvas, BUT NO!
TO THE BULLSHARK WHO DECIDED THAT MACS SHALL NOT HAVE OPEN CANVAS:
Let me know when you decide to stop rejecting a large chunk of the digital artist community. Until then, SOMEONE TELL ME ANOTHER PROGRAM I CAN GRACE WITH MY PATRONAGE. MONEY IS NO LONGER A DECIDING FACTOR DUE TO MY RAGE.

1. (real watercolor) I'm working on a surprise for my boyfriend Marcus...I'm drawing him and his band. I didn't even touch on the drums though. Every time I take something like that on, I get a new list of things I hate. Maybe I'll post that list some time. But the things from this project:
I hate thumbs, guitars and mouths. Mouths are at the top of that list always and forever.
2. (real watercolor) Marion from Requiem for a Dream (Sarah Connelly or however you spell it) with her brain coming all out and stuff.....Mostly just a test before I get on to project 1.
3. (A computer painting with AN ACTUAL BACKGROUND.) It's entitled 'Dreadz' for now. But it has to do with hot air balloons.
4. (Computer painting) Evelot from 10000 bc. That movie had absolutely no historical relevance but it was an awesome story, and there is a surprising lack of Evelot and D'leh fanart. I'm slightly appalled at you, DA.
GET ON IT AND DRAW ME SOME EVELOT.
I dare you.
